Who are the users?
Who are the users?

Parents with children below the age of 8, living in urban areas with busy work schedule having little to no time during the day for taking care of their young children.

Licensed daycare centers and individual childcare professionals can have an organized platform where they can offer their services and gain visibility and reach potential clients.

(Qualitative research)

The objective was to understand the existing scenario of enrollment in daycare centers and the challenges faced by parents while finding a reliable facility. The in-depth user interviews gave me quality insights from working parents living in urban and semi-urban areas.

Feedback and takeways

Feedback and takeways

After designing the initial mockups, usability testing was conducted with a few users to gather feedback.

Key insights from the testing phase highlighted the need for an attendance tracking feature and a more flexible enrollment process to accommodate varying schedules. Based on this feedback, these improvements were incorporated into the final design to enhance the overall user experience.

Since the app targets a niche audience, gathering insights was challenging. I focused on understanding user pain points through interviews and identifying gaps in the daycare enrollment process. This shaped the app’s direction, beyond helping parents find daycare, it also ensures their child’s safety.
